One of the very biggest lessons I’ve learned about habits so far is how failing once isn’t the end of your story.

A younger me, maybe 6 months younger… ha

So yeah, an only slightly younger me would have so very easily given up on a habit being built after failing at it once.

Have you ever decided something wasn’t right for you after failing at it? It feels better saying you’ve decided to leave it behind and not that it left you.

At the wonderful age of 36 I am finally understanding that it’s okay if I fail and keep going. Not even sure I actually believed that before.

It’s okay to miss a day of something you want to do daily and then show up the following day.

IT. IS. OKAY.

You may read my words and agree, but do you believe it for yourself? Do you show up again when you’ve messed up once or do you give in?

One bad meal does not need to mean a bad day or a bad week.

One workout missed does not mean your entire plan goes up in smoke.

A Challenge,

I’d like you to try and keep this front of mind the next time you fall short on something you wanted to exceed at. You can try again. And then again after that if you want to. You are capable of not giving up.
